I had 5 minutes to tell Gellocake's story and mention all our accomplishments & dreams. It was a VERY SPECIAL moment so I did it with a GREAT BIG smile on my face. However, only God and a few around me know all the sacrifices, the sweat and many tears behind those 5 minutes.
I THANK GOD for my beloved family and those "angels" who have supported us on this journey!!! We are so grateful to MICHIGAN and her people!!! It is best place that we could ever have launched this amazing venture called...GELLOCAKE! |

When you give of your time and effort...you are always blessed in return!
Professor William Moltz -of Lansing Community College offered us an opportunity to have his Marketing students take on Gellocake as a study case. How cool was that!
The team objectively reviewed all the different areas of our business in order to present a complete marketing analysis and plan.
The presentation and feedback we received was awesome.
Shelley Sanders presented our case in such a way that we were speechless and greatly excited.
"NOT A BAKER...AN ARTIST!".......What a blessing to hear that!!!
It was confirmed that our "baby steps" were actually taken in the right direction!
Great things are about to happen...and every move will be planned and executed the best way possible...

One of the most important decisions I had ever taken as an entrepreneur was to enroll myself at a business seminar called FAST-Track offered by
MI SBTDC (Michigan Small business techonology center).
It was an intense 10 week, hands-on workshop.
All topics, guest speakers and participants were just wonderful!
I had the chance to meet other INSPIRING and BRILLIANT business owners. The facilitator Gordon Ferguson, the best consultant ever, has been our business adviser since the launching of Gellocake.

Going back to school was a real challenge for me, with the pressure of day to day requirements as a business owner and a busy mom.
However, during those months we accomplished so much and focused 100% on plans for Gellocake's future.
Graduation day...one more milestone reached!!! |

Well, I am proud to say that the Fast Track-Seminar not only gave me a wonderful experience, lots of acknowledgment and a certificate....but right there, a COMPLETE NEW CONCEPT and an important section of my business WAS BORN!... |
